Who let the dogs out!

One of the best fighting fish, the dog tooth tuna inhabits the edge of the reef system. Early morning and late evening around passages are best. This little fella was caught on a Halco Laser Lure. When you see the teeth on these guys you realize why wire traces are a good idea.

Game fishing starts as soon as you leave the harbour!

Tropical Bottom Fishing

Fishing the reef "drop offs" produces a wonderful variety of fish. Featured here is the fantastic comet grouper.

Catch is shared! Of course you want to try what youve caught, your skipper will provide a share to those on board, if needed he can present as a fillet ready for your hotel chef!

Getting Around

Transportation

The Island bus service is fairly decent, usually one every 30mins. The island is fairly small (32km) so for those of you who are energetic a bicycle will suffice but its a good idea to also grab a scooter, you will need this for all the partying to be had in town.

Aitutaki

lagoon. A definite stopover must for everyone! For

	The cross Island walk. This 2-3hr trek is fairly easy with great views from the top and a refreshing waterfall swim at the end.		MR T's Tropical Tour This local fun bus is a must do, friendly service and a different twist on a nite out!

Catch Flying Fish???

Yes thats right! We have fish that can "FLY" This is a great night time activity where you swap rods for catch nets and reels for spotlights. Your skipper will chase the Maroro (local name) and if youre quick enough you can scoop up some dinner!
